Michigan Resonance Imaging’s Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI is an Open Bore system that gives patients greater comfort without compromising the quality of the MRI exam. In fact, it enables a higher level of image quality not possible before in an open MRI and is the first of its kind available in North Oakland County. The Espree MRI is located at our Fixed MRI site at 355 Barclay Circle Suite A Rochester Hills, MI 48307.
Open Bore Benefits Include:

Reduced feelings of claustrophobia and the increased ability to complete the examination because most exams can be performed with the patient’s head resting outside of the equipment.

The MRI’s ability to accommodate large and obese patients- up to 550 pounds.
